Mountain High Adventure 2009 - Session #1 Photos

            We started our week with some canoeing and kayaking, swimming, games and a picnic lunch at Braddock Bay. The girls learned that "swamping canoes" was a lot of fun. On Tuesday, we did our famous "bicycle treasure hunt" and went out and played "disc golf" in the rain and mud. The weather turned wet and windy so we returned to base to play some board games and cards until parents arrived. On Wednesday, we planned menus and went shopping. then we headed to Fairhaven Beach State Park for our overnight. We set up camp and headed to Fort Ontario to explore. Then it was back to camp for swimming and sand castles, dinner and a campfire. Thursday morning we packed up and headed towards home. We stopped at a park in Pultneyville for lunch, some swinging, and a little game of foxtail. Friday, we went over to Durand Eastman Park for some hiking, Geocaching and a challenging low ropes obstacle course. We had a lot of rain during the week but still managed to do everything that we set out to do. What a great week.
