Photos from February Break Camp Program

We gathered together around 8:30 AM at Webster Park and walked back to the cabin. The roads were completely covered with a thick layer of ice, making it hard to walk. Once at the cabin, we had some hot chocolate to drink and we played some games. A short while later we learned about reading a map and a compass so that we could find our way around the park while locating the clues that would lead us to the buried treasure at the end of the treasure hunt. As we were hiking through the park looking for the clues, we took time to slide up and down the icy hills. Finally, after many clues and much sliding around, we found the final clue and the treasure. Then it was back to the cabin to warm up and have some lunch. Afterwards we did some snowshoe racing and then some exciting sledding on the ice covered road where it dipped into a low spot. Before we knew it, it was time to head out to the outer parking lot where we played some Broom Ball in the field until the parents arrived and everyone went home.
